My son in his 20s dies in a fire in the apartment where the Paju family lived.

In Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do, a fire broke out in an apartment where a family lived, killing a son in his 20s and burning a mother in her 40s.

Yesterday (21st) at around 7:40 am, a fire broke out on the second floor of an apartment building in Bongilcheon-ri, Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do.

The fire was extinguished in about 30 minutes, but A, a man in his 20s, died and a mother in her 40s, who was also in the house, was burned.

Mr. A is said to have had difficulty moving one leg.

Police and fire authorities suspect the fire was caused by a short circuit and are investigating the exact cause of the fire.
