The special investigation headquarters of the prosecution's emergency martial law summoned Prime Minister Han as a suspect yesterday (21st) and investigated him behind closed doors.
Prosecutors are said to have intensively questioned Prime Minister Han about procedures taken on the day of the declaration of emergency martial law, such as the proposal to declare martial law or whether to deliberate at the Cabinet meeting.
However, Prime Minister Han said that there was a flaw in the legal process in which the emergency martial law was declared, saying that he had never proposed declaring martial law to President Yoon Suk Yeol and that the Cabinet had not actually deliberated.
Earlier, Han appeared before the police last month and was investigated as a suspect.
