The high-ranking government official's criminal investigation office seems to have launched a third round of compulsory recruitment attempts against President Yoon Suk Yeol for refusing to comply with repeated requests for attendance.

At around 10:20 a.m. today (22nd), a vehicle belonging to the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit was spotted passing through the main gate of the Seoul Detention Center and entering the interior.

An official from the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit said that it is likely to be notified after all situations are over, as there is also a problem of personal protection of the investigation team.

The official also sent an official letter of cooperation to the correctional authorities yesterday (21st), saying, "I understand that there is an investigation room in the Seoul detention center, and we are also considering conducting a visit to the detention center if the forced recruitment is not possible."

Earlier, after President Yoon was arrested, the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit tried to force recruitment twice the day before and yesterday, but President Yoon has virtually refused to recruit him because of interviews with lawyers or hospital treatment.
