In the aftermath of the prolonged legislative conflict, the number of newly produced doctors this year was less than one-tenth of last year.

Of the 382 applicants for the 89th National Doctor's Examination, 269 passed the final examination through practical and written tests, and the acceptance rate was 70.4%.

The final number of successful applicants this year was only 8.8% of last year's 3,45, making the cliff of doctor emissions a reality.

The doctor's examination is held for the fourth year of medical school and foreign medical school graduates, and the number of successful applicants is in the early 3,000 range every year.

However, in February last year, the government's announcement of an increase in medical schools intensified the legislative conflict, and the number of successful applicants dropped sharply as most medical students chose to take a leave of absence.

As the number of new doctors has decreased significantly, the number of major doctors and specialists has inevitably been disrupted.
