National Judiciary Committee "Western District Court Rampage, Damage to Constitutional Order"

The National Council of Judges expressed strong concern over the mass disturbance at the Western District Court in Seoul, which took place after President Yoon Suk Yeol's arrest warrant was issued on the 19th.

In a statement today, the National Council of Judges stressed that violent attacks on courts on trial grounds cannot be tolerated as an act that violates the functioning of the judiciary and undermines the foundation of constitutional order.

Judges across the country also said they will fulfill their responsibilities with a fair trial without wavering any threats.
