Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit Fails to Investigate President Yoon Again... "refuses to Investigate All"

The high-ranking government official's crime investigation office visited the Seoul Detention Center today (22nd) to investigate President Yoon Suk Yeol, but it failed due to President Yoon's refusal.

The joint investigation headquarters said in a notice that the prosecutor and investigator of the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit visited the Seoul Detention Center, but the investigation was not conducted because President Yoon refused to investigate anything, including field investigations and job openings.

The investigation team was found to have not even been able to face President Yoon, adding that the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit will decide after discussing future investigations or procedures.

Earlier, after President Yoon refused to attend the investigation after issuing an arrest warrant, the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit visited the Seoul Detention Center for three consecutive days from the day before (20th) to today.

However, as President Yoon refused to do so one after another, no further investigation has been conducted on President Yoon since the first investigation conducted on the 15th.
