One Indian man who was incorporated into the Russian military and went to the battlefield in Ukraine due to employment fraud was killed and another Indian man was seriously injured.

According to Reuters on the 15th (local time), India's Foreign Ministry confirmed the deaths of two Indian men from the southern state of Kerala the previous day and said it was in talks with Russian authorities to ensure that the dead and injured were transferred home as soon as possible.

However, it did not mention when and where the two were injured. The injured person is currently being treated at a hospital in Moscow, Russia.

Local media reported that the dead were 32 years old and the injured were 27 years old, and that they were attacked by drones on the battlefield in Ukraine.

This is not the first time that an Indian has been sent to the battlefield in Ukraine for a job fraud and has been defecated. Early last year, two Indians were killed on the battlefield in Ukraine.

At the time, the Indian government demanded that Russian authorities stop recruiting Indians and repatriate Indians already deployed on the battlefield as soon as possible, and about 45 Indians have been repatriated so far.
